I depends on what criteria you use to describe an ultimate hero. Ultimate power, ultimate commitment, ultimate popularity, a combination thereof?

Thor, Silver Surfer, Adam Warlock, Superman, and Green Lantern, are ones that come to mind that often get entangled in matters of Cosmic import.

Of course, sometimes Galactus gets involved, or the Watchers (they don't always just peep) and they are in a seperate class than the aforementioned.

Any of the Eternals (save possibly Sprite), though they mostly keep to matters between themselves and the Deviants.

For female, it has to be Jean Grey with the Phoenix force

easily that's a exceedingly complicated question you note, i have been wondering on it ever considering that i began taking activity in comics and supers. nevertheless in case you want to understand then HE-guy is huge form a million. the 2d position is going to, no longer a unmarried hero yet a team of heroes in which there are in undemanding words 3 human characters, else others are anthromorphic( kinda large animals) characters. I dont bear in options the shows call, in spite of the undeniable fact that it replaced right into a HE-guy like personality his spouse and his son with fantastic pets like a 10 legged, stone throwing rhino by his damaged horn, a fireplace dragon who may also throw beams of power by his tail, a huge king kong sized gorilla, 2 "mr. fantastic" father and son pets, which have even more beneficial useful powers than mr.fantastic. that's an old hannah barbara superhero comic strip. third being any youngster superhero you know, they're all my popular. the conception of a young person being superhero always amazes me, therefore maximum of my popular supers are like youngster titans, potential packed and so on.

Punisher MAX. He doesn't fly or have a ridiculous outfit,or anything else, but he is not to be "jacked" with. The writing is great. I don't know if he's the ultimate or one of the "Ultimates," but the stories are the best by far.

Dr. Doom of course.

He is a normal human that has had more torment in his life than anything else.

His only power = he is a genius.

Unlike batman or iron man he wasn't born with money, he was a poor gypsy whose mother and father died horribly.

His mother sold her soul to the demon mephisto in exchange for power- her power killed all the first born in a latverian village of the dictator baron. one of the baron's guards killed her.

Doom's father died when he and doom were chased into the cold because he couldn't (the father) cure the baron's wife's terminal cancer.

Doom learned science and his mother's black magic and through his intellect effectively gave himself the powers he has.

In the marvel universe only reed richards even comes close to doom's intellect, but reed's lack of understanding of magic, makes him beneath doom.

In the marvel universe on earth, doom's magical abilities are second only to dr. strange.

Doom has taken over the world and brought about a world without crime, without hunger, without poverty, without war.

Doom also challenged the demon mephisto (w/dr. strange) and decieved the devil to retrieve his mother's soul.

So, I guess you didn't mean Dr. Frank-N-Furter? No wait, he(?) was just an Ultimate (mad) Doctor, not a superhero(ine).
