Okay, I've always had acne problems but honestly, I do not understand why.

I wash my face two times everyday and completely take all of my makeup off every night. I also have some acne medication that I put on when I need it, but it just doesn't seem to work at all!!

I also have red spots on my face, that aren't that noticable but I have really low self-esteem so basically every little thing gets at me. Anyways, the red spots are small and round like pimples but there is nothing ever there--JUST RED!

I don't understand why I have been having so many face problems when I think I take pretty good care of my skin. Is there any other, more powerful medicine that I should get. I mean, its not like I have huge, puss-filled things on my face, its just really, really dry (despite the use of lotion) and red!

So, I can't wear makeup because my skin gets kind-of flaky, but if I don't then I freak out beause my face is red! Its just a huge, never-ending cycle! Someone tell me how to break it!

Since you aren't having acne you may behaving having an reaction to something you are using. Go to a dermatologist and have them suggest some things to you. Always get a second option if you are weary of what they are saying.
You may be using too much on your skin also. The fact that your skin is so dry might be causing the redness. Try not using the medicine for a night and see what happens.
But check with a dermatologist for best results.

I suggest you see a dermatologist who can recomend something RIGHT for your skin type. I think it's very senstive. Set up an apoointment sometime this week if you have time, dont be embarssed either. Everyone goes see a dermatologist once awhile :D

Trust me, he or she knows what they are doing for your skin if you let them. Your acne skin probelms will be over soon if you just see the darn doctor~lol. Maybe you should try Origins skincare products tho, they're natrual and i give you my word they work for just about anyone. My older sister and two of my friends and me uses their products a lot and they really work too. Visit their website to get more info on it but they're kinda expensive but worth it. You can buy their products at your mall. They leave ur skin feelings clear, fresh, and clean. Good luck

also...look in phonebook for a dermatologist or call somewhere

Your skin is very sensitive. I would suggest you to stop wearing make-up for a while, and continue with using your acne medication. Drink plenty of water, and moisturize your face with Olay Complete All Day Moisture Cream instead of lotion. Use tinted moisturizer on your face when you're going out instead of make up when you're going out to cover the red spots. Hope this helps!

I totally got you on this one. My face and neck do the exact same things. They aren't pimples, just little red bumbs, i hate them! BUT!!! I asked my doctor about them and she was able to tell me what it was! I can't remember the name, but she told me that it is curable, which is such a relief, and to get a certain type of lotion with acids in it, that will help your skin repair itself. I'll look ti up, but for an idea, just go to your doctor and ask about it! I hope this helps...It's helped me...
