I got a new computer 7 months ago and a few of the letters on the keys to the black keyboard are fading away. How does that happen? Also what do you recommend using to re-mark some of the keys?

The A and S letters are nearly gone. The E, C, N, and M keys are partially faded. When I am studying for tests using my keyboard, I usually type as fast as I can (usually 45+ words per minute).

Its common on cheap Keyboards.
Use a Permanent Marker usually in white. Works quite well if you have a good handwriting skill

You could use one of those silver permanent markers. That could help with writing the letter on the keys.

It does sound like you might have a low quality keyboard if they wore off. I have several keyboards I have used consistently for over 6 years and the lettering is just as good today as it was when I got it.

Maybe it would be wise to invest in a nice new quality keyboard...?

I would have to totally agree.
Either you seriously beat on your keys or
you got a cheap keyboard.
