I am thirteen and I'm in the seventh grade. I have plenty of friends, but like 98% of them are girls. I do have a couple of boys that my friend ships with them turn on and off. But besides that most of my friends are girls. And like when i talk to them in class everybody keeps yelling Stop Flirting, and Don't Get Her Pregnant! Mostly from other boys. And I am not like at all like the other boys!

Causing people to think I'm gay, or that I'm a girl just because I'm not into sports and stuff like that Which I'm not gay thank you very much! But people also think' weird because I have more in common with girls than boys.

Is it so weird most of my friends are girls, and that I have more in common with them than other boys.

i went all through high school with 2 boy friends rest were all girls. by my junior year i gave up on fighting the "gay" comments and had fun invoking them. I'm not by any means gay but i have to admit holding hands walking down the halls and telling my girls i loved them brought a lot of laughs for us when all along the joke was on the idiots of the school. break the habit of caring what others think it will save you a lot of pain and hassle in the future.

No thats not weird at all. Your different, be glad about that. Tell those guys to shut up if they think all that stuff about you. If you like being friends with girls thats fine. It wouldn't hurt though to do other guy things though because you don't want to get a habit of being around girls all the time...after awhile, things start to seem strange.

I have a brother who is like that, but he still likes to do things with guys, although he can relate better with the gals. I say hey if you have more things in common with girls thats fine, but don't neglect guy things either....in this society today, you can easily get labled.

Good luck!

I swear I have the same experience. I am a girl and 98% of my friends are gay and everyone's always like "don't get knocked up!" and they say that I'm a "Female pimp master." But the ones i don't get is that all the other girls think I'm some sory of lesbian! LOL. Because I've gone through the same experiences as you, I don't think it's weird.

I don't think it's weird. Why is it okay for girls to have only male friends and nobody says anything much about it, but when it's the other way around people have to talk crap. Anyone talking crap is just jealous. All my life, as a female, most of my friends were male. I just like to be around them and there's no competition or gameplaying involved.

Its not weird, its fine. Middel school is a mess, it will settle in by highschool. Just ignore the guys, who cares if you dont like sports or something. Its YOUR choice. All the guys are trying to look 'bad' and 'tough' Its just a phase, it'll be gone when they figure out, poeple are different and have a choice to be whatever they want to.

i think its totally normal because most of my friends are boys and you know its not your fault you have more in common with girls but for them to stop teasing you then start finding somethings you have in common with boys of your class (i don't mean stop talking to girls)

I don't know for guys. but i'm the same way i only have like 5 friends that are girls. the rest are guys. they find it a little wierd but i've known most of them since kindergarden they got used to it. like all my boyfriends friends are like she hangs out with us and your dating her. whats up whit that dude? if ya'll break up then she'll come to us to "talk" about it.
one day i'm just like why the heck(replace ck with ll) would i come to ya'll to "talk" that why i have friends that are girls. but they still freak out when they see us kissing.

On one hand, you're really kinda feminal. On the other, if you happen to like any of them.....
