Of all the countless great games that have come on the PS2 it is ironic that God war 2 the last game will be the best one.

I didn't know it was the last game, but I think your statement is accurate as far as "the best one." I'm going to have to buy another PS2 (mine broke) just to buy God of War 2 since I upgraded to Xbox 360 after the breakage. I cant think of many other games that even come close to rivaling God of War. The first one was incredible, and I have seen many trailers for the second, it looks very similar to the first. The fighting style has stayed consistent, new kill moves and magics from what I could see. Also, you still have to push/pull stuff, but they added some lift stuff (like gigantic obstacles) to the mix. All the stuff that made the first one great is still there, so this game will be a great farewell to the PS2, if that is the case.

Youre slightly mistaken - GOW2 will not be the last game ever released for the PS2. It most likely will be the last GREAT game released for the system, but not the last release ever...
that said, I have my copy and I LOVE IT!!!! Freakin awesome graphics, and I loved the first battle against the Collosus of Rhodes!! Friggin shweet man!!!!!!!!!!!

Yea i got my copy 2day. its awesome. Ive gotten to the part where were connect the island by the steeds pulling it. and its great.
