Go to Balboa Park on the weekend. You should do pretty well for a hard day's work!

Used to see street performers all the time in Balboa Park and Seaport Village. Also along the beaches in OB and Mission. Don't see too many, probably seen as a revenue source by our corrupt city council and licensed into obscurity.

Any beach, really. Just pick a spot where there are a lot of people somewhere in Carlsbad or Del Mar or something. Places like Oceanside and Encinitas won't get you tips. Haha.

Old Town gets a lot of pedestrians and tourists. Also, near the Convention Center and the quaint shopping district alongside it.

Balboa Park gets huge traffic, not sure about the regulations though.
