pink floyd. listen to dark side of the moon and then the yes album. then think about this question again lol.

Depends on the ears are listening to them, I would go for Floyd becuase they kept being creative and did adapt to the changes in the 80's and 90's ... YES, on the other hand, had its best last moment in the 80's with 90125, then they did the Union album which was good, but after that they have been doing the same old and honestly I cannot handle them anymore, they are not saying anything new and I don't think they will, their lack of creativity has killed them, I get bored with YES not with Floyd..... by the way GENESIS is touring europe this year....

Floyd is good, but Yes is better. Floyd, personally, is too dark (with the exception on "Wish you We're Here"). Floyd has also been selling out. I have met Nick Mason(drummer) he is one mean guy, not even giving my 5 year old brother an autograph. Fame has gone to their heads, but honestly if you would give Yes a chance. Just listen to "Time and a Word" and "Astral Traveller". If you want to be amazed the listen to ALL of "Roundabout". I've done my job here
