if you were made redundent they will ask you how much you were paid in redundency compensation. They can check this by contacting your previous employer.

This will affect any handouts you may be entitled to.

That depends upon how much you picked up when leaving, if it's more than £8000 then you wont get a bean until you get it down. Otherwise, yes you'll get benefits.

it really depends on how much savings you have more than £3000 u wont be entitled but less than that amount you are

you can claim job seekers allowance for six months as long as you stamps are up to date.. contact your local social security office for up to date information...

yes you are pat. i wouldnt think of you as a blood sucker either. you've paid your stamp over the years so you've earned your dole money untill you get another job. good luck
