NO, but it's possible that it's an experiment of your own mind. Imagine that you are the only person alive and that your mind is creating everything that you see and do and that all that happens around you is from your own imagination!.!!!

Yes, i don't see why not.
In fact there could be an infinite number of universes that God devised, but the one that we live in just so happened to have the right things to make humans.
i.e. if God created the Big Bang, it has to be just violent enough so that the planets don't spread too far and that we (Earth) are close enough to the Sun but not TOO close so we get burned etc. The Big Bang had to have the right ingredients to host living beings, and we humans are the living beings with a conscience. Sorry I digress...but the point is...yes. We could be living in a test tube!

The whole universe is a figment of our imagination.
This keyboard is a figment of my imagination as is this computer and this question i am answering.
Everything is a commonly, universally agreed illusion.
So yes, if we agree that the universe is an experiment in a test tube in God's house, then that is what it is.
Anything that can be thought is also a truth and therefore inhabits this universe, which is a figment of our imagination.

Certain religions state that reincarnation occurs when the soul of an individual has not reached the equal-ness of God. God made man in His likeness and gives man the option to live his life to achieve that level. To be with God. Whose not to say that we are the experiment, much less the universe

Its also possible that the universe is contained on a microscope slide and we are being observed by a class of 13-year old spotty aliens.

I believe that anything is possible - when I was a kiddie I used to love those snow shakers and I used to imagine that the whole world was in one of these and we were placed on someones fireplace!!

No, "anything" is NOT possible.

Since the probability of there being any such thing as "god" is incredibly small (so small it's perfectly safe to ignore it), the probability of such an improbable "god" doing such an unprobable "experiment" is infinistesimally small.

So while technically possible...it's as unlikely as anything could be :)

Of course...!
It would explain a lot of searching questions, such as "are we alone..?" The answer would be yes, apart from those other test tubes over there..........
