I need help on Harvest moon a wonderful life?

I just got tartan (the 2 headed plant) and how do u create hybird plants because all he will let me do is analyze stuff. please help me

talk to it a ton until it says hybrid. then put the two things in IN ORDER(ses online). it will then make the seed. sometimes it doesnt work

How do you play that game? I have the game in GC, but I have no idea of how to play it.
