No, they're two completely different metals.

Steel is in fact an alloy consisting of Iron and as much as 1.7 % Carbon. Iron is one of the heaviest metals.

Aluminum is one of the "poor" metals, as it is quite soft and is extremely light-weight. Because of its weight and ease of use, it has become an extremely popular metal, but is mostly used in some sort of alloy form, usually including a small percentage Nickel (a very hard metal).

I believe Aluminum is a base metal. It's light weight, doesn't rust (only oxidizes) and burns out angle grinders even though it's relatively easy to cut.

Steel on the other hand is an alloy made from Iron, and a mixture of other metals like chromium and molybdenum I think.
It is hard to cut and rusts (because of iron content) unless treated with galvanising, made stainless etc...It is also magnetic.

no, steel is much more sturdy compared to aluminum ,you can barely bend steel and you can easily bend aluminum

Steel is made from carbon and iron.
