get all of the things you will need for the day or night and put them by your bed. Stay in bed and don't get out unless you have to go to the bathroom. Rest and drink lots of water and keep super warm. If you start to feel sweaty, go take a hot shower and follow with an epsom salt bath. Then, get back in bed. This is what I did just the other day to get better from the same thing. I'm feeling fine now. Just STAY IN BED and keep clean!

If you have some garlic, it has a natural antibiotic called allicin. Make a broth with garlic in it, about a half of a clove, three times a day and at bedtime. It will clear congestion and kill any bacteria. Good luck.

drink a lot of fluids but not cold beverages because it wont alleviate your cold.. eat some citrus fruits.. since you have a sore throat, dont eat anything that can irritate yur throat such as spicy foods.. just a bland diet.. but the most important is, increase your fluid intake.. avoid blowing your nose too much coz it can injure your nasal tissues..

Wild Oil of Oregano would do the trick, but seeing as you don't want to go out, I guess you'll just have to suffer.

Hot tea. It soothes your throat and could also clear out a stuffy nose if you have one.
