ok igot this thing for rome total war. its called troy total war and another thing called 300 spartans. how do i get these mods to work on my game?

As for mods, generally they're for a certain version of RTW, either RTW1.5 or BI1.6 or even for Alexander. You must be certain you have a clean install of the appropriate game version and then install the modification over that. You would be better off seeking help at their official forums....
