Does everyone notice their breasts getting larger and more tender? Is this a sure sign of pregnancy and if I do not have this symptom but all others does that mean I'm not? I have missed my period by four days. Thank you!

I posted another question with all the actual details by the way. I most likely will be testing tonight. My period was due to start three days ago and except for one spotting occurrence, I have not bled. I have the nausea, dizziness, and cravings. Little detail though, I was on the pill before that though I took it inconsistently.

I tested yesterday and it came back negative. Needles to say that I we were very upset and I had a huge headache from hours of crying. Hopefully sometime soon....:'(

My breasts grew larger but I never had any tenderness.
We can't tell you if you may be pregnant, only a test or a doctor can do that. We can only tell you what we think.

Many women do not experience all of the symptoms of pregnancy. The symptoms vary so much! Plus, most women don't have bad symptoms (morning sickness, extremely sore breasts) until 6 weeks - so 2 weeks after the missed period. A missed period is the most common symptom of pregnancy. You can go ahead and take any home test, all brands should show a positive by now if you are pregnant. That is the only way to know for sure. A drs blood test will also be able to tell if you are pregnant and if you are not then a dr will be able to tell you what is keeping your period away. Best Wishes!

If you have been on the pill and have been taking it everyday at the same time then your period may be a little later than normal. If you do not get any sign of your period within the next 2-3 days I would consider buying a pregnancy test.

Take a pregnancy test. Every pregnancy is different. My breasts did not start getting tender until about 8 weeks.

I think you've jumped the gun a little. Most of the pregnancy symptons, (swollen breasts, cravings etc) don't begin until much later. The first symptom is a missed period

i really didn't have the breast thing until later on and it only lasted for a little while but i had everything else. the main thing is that you missed your period and you had, what sounds to me like implantation bleeding, so i would say just take a test. Good Luck!

I did not notice my breast enlarging until i was about 8 weeks along. If you have missed your period, go ahead and take a home pregnancy test.

if your cycle is always on time, take the test, i recommend first response. i didnt start getting symptoms until after my first month. i still had tender breast and thought i was gonna have my period. if you find pinkish spotting most likely you are. good luck!

When I was pregnant with my son, my breasts didn't hurt at all. But with this pregnancy they hurt like heck. So every pregnancy is different. If your breasts don't hurt or aren't getting bigger, that doesn't mean that you are not pregnant. You still could be. You should definitley test!
