Back "then," I was foolish and married a man that I only wanted to have sex with but because of my affiliation with the church, we were told we had to marry. Fifteen years later, I left him. Back "then," I didn't realize that in the long run, it would have been better NOT to have kids with him and hang around thinking "love" would magically happen just because we were both Christians (this is what we were told).
