He can have them now. You can give him both the eggs and the whites scrambled together. Do not give ANY other new foods that day and just make sure there is no allergic reaction. I am guessing he will like them.

I'd ask your pediatrician, but most will tell you to wait until he's a year old. I'd maybe try eggs mixed with other things before giving him straight scrambled eggs just in case he is allergic. If you do try to introduce them early (now), just make sure to do it in the morning so you can observe him all day--check on him while he sleeps. This is one of those allergies that people are prone to. I know of someone who is not allergic to eggs, but is allergic to chicken, and vice versa. Just as long as you keep a close eye on him, he should be fine.

I know, that it's OK to start giving egg yolks only somewhere between 8-10 months. Whole eggs, however shouldn't be given until the baby is 12 months, because of the risk of a severe allergic reaction.

As long as they are scrambled hard (meaning no runniness) then you are fine to let him have them now. If there are allergies present, I would say to ask the pediatrician.

Undercooked eggs, however, should not be given to a child under 2.

Egg yokes are safe from about 8 months. Whites are safe from about 12 months. Of course if you have a family history of food allergies this should be postponed until about 2 years.

start with a very small amount of eggs as they are the number one cause of food allergy in babies.

If he has no reaction, scrambled eggs are find for kids.
