I really like Scheherazade. It is the story of The Arabian Nights set to music. It was written by Nikolai Rimsky-Korakov. The story behind it is that an Arabia King was cheated on by his wife and had her killed. He vowed that women were no good so he had his assistant find him a woman to marry every afternoon. He would then spend one night with her then have her killed the next morning. The assistant grew tired of this and his daughter had an idea. She told him to give her to the king. He reluctantly agreed. She would every night for 1001 nights tell the king a story that kept him interested so he kept putting off her execution. At the end of the 1001 nights he decided not to have her executed thereby saving many women in the process.

this is continuously changing, yet this has have been given to be a great indication of my favourites: a million - Beau soir - Debussy, Claude (accomplished via Joshua Bell on the violin), 2 - Bruyeres - Debussy, Claude, 3 - Love Letters - Marianelli, Dario (from the movie 'Atonement'), 4 - Neverland - Kaczmarek, Jan A. P. (from the movie 'looking Neverland'), 5 - Capriccio in F-Sharp minor, Op. seventy six: a million - Brahms, Johannes. you would be conscious that all of them incorporate the piano - i'm afraid that's only very own bias. And, I advise no offence, yet do no longer use 'music' regarding a bite of music. this is purely a music if this is meant to be sung.

Classical?
Hmm.. I am a music addict (of whatever genre, really) so I believe that you must try and listen to overture 1812 by Tchaikovsky... or Canon by Pachelbel. Both aongs are indeed wonderfully composed. Plus, the story behind the former is indeed remarkable.

Flight of the Bumblebee by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. It's a truely bizzare piece and almost ahead of its time, because it sounds like a jazz piece.
