My son is a great student and plans to go to college. What is the best way for him to make money to help with his future?

Easiest way would probably be getting the usual retail or restaurant job.
If he's able to tutoring is also a good option. Money is usually great the only drawback is getting clients.
Another is scholarships. There are always local organizations or government organizations giving money away for school. Just need to find them and figure out what needs to be done.

Do what every other 16 year old does and get a job. You know- fast food, retail, etc. He will also learn the value of money and build character.

scholarships, grants, and financial aids. You can also get him a job as a waitress, cashier etc.
