it is not important you jump or not while you are shooting free throw it is more easy to shoot while your feet in on the line if you jump you cant control your power very well you have to run if you want to make a great jump shot so its better to shoot while your feet on the line for me

its a set shot so most players dont jump but u can as long as u r behind the foul line

sure, you're allowed to do something you like, as long as you reside at the back of the line and interior the a million/2 circle. Dr. J used to shoot from the best area of the circle by way of fact he thought the line replaced into too close!

You can jump as long as your feet don't cross the line. They generally don't jump because you have more control of the shot if you don't jump.

your feet must remain on the line, but you can stand on your toes and shoot, too

you are allowed to jump, but most players find it easier to shoot it with a simple bend of the legs and to push up...
