I can no longer use hormone based contraception, and was wondering which different methods of contraceptions are on the market.

Don't fancy going back to condoms (male or female)! Or using the natural method.....

Through looking on the net, it appear I can use Cervical Cap, or Diaphragm.... what others are available?

I can't use any hormone based contraception either. I use foam. It is inserted with an applicator. It is really easy to use, but unfortunately is only a 94% success rate. However, if you use the withdrawal method with the foam, you increase the success rate.

there are many options. There is the diaphram, cervical cap, and sponge to mention a few. There are also over the counter things you can use such as the vaginal film and spermicides. only you can say which is the best method for you. Good luck with your search for protection.

i liked the diaphragm. i was unable to use hormones, either. the downside is that you must be very comfortable touching yourself and you have to pause and insert the diaphragm before intercourse -which puts a cramp in spontaneity.
otherwise, it was 100% effective and easy to use.
talk to your Gyn.
