How do you remove rain gutters from your house? I need to rehang my rain gutters ( they have no pitch) but how do i remove the nails and not ruin the gutters?

I understand about the pitch. they have zero and i want to add 1 degree, but to do that i need to remove them from the facia. how do i remove the 7" long nails with damageing the rain gutters?

Call Local roofing companys. Re-positioning gutters is not hard, if you know what you are doing. All you need is a pry-bar and a hammer. There could be some minor damage to the gutter. If the gutter is loose somewhat already there should be no damage.

The nails are 6 to 8 inches long just pull them out like you do with regular nails just be gentle how much pitch do you need the angle to drain if you just losen up the nails and push up on the side away from the down spout it should be fine any more than that it will look like crap to much angle

try going to some place like the home depot they may hava a tool advailable to help you remove the nail or try some of you local roofing suppliers like bradco or abc supply you might also go on lline www.malcotools.com

they are supposed to have little pitch so they look level installed on the house!

I would try to install more downspouts in overflow areas, & if at a valley, install a tall splash guard!
