Please, serious responses only. The question asked of us is complicated but it comes down to this. Guys, if you knew 100% that you WOULD NOT get caught, would you be more likely to sexually assault a female acquaintence? It sounds bad, I know, and most people are going to respond saying Me? No! Never! But please try and think of it in the big picture and what the question is asking. Thanks in advance.

To respond to one of the answers. I am not asking anyone to think of doing this to a woman. I am simply asking them to think logically about the question being asked. I am asking that the responders "mentally" put themselves in that scenario and give me feedback of what they beleive.

Thanks to those of who you actually understand the question and are responding appropriately. Please refrain from responding if you have nothing constructive to add. The question in university is not whether or not I think it is right, or if I think it is a good thing to do. I am against women abuse and sexual assault, obviously. Please try and understand the concept of the question. I am not asking anyone to do anything wrong or immoral.

Absolutely not. Sexual assault is a question of power, right? Only bullies get off on that kind of trip. I absolutely adore a woman who submits consentually ;-), but to force anyone to do something (s)he doesn't want to do goes strongly against my libertarian principles.

Would I rob a bank if I knew I would get away with it (and no one was harmed in the process)? Absolutely.

What kind of cockamanie question is this???????

You acknowledge the idea of sexual assault being bad, yet, in order to get people to tell you want you want you are suggesting they"please try" and to "look at the bigger picture"?? Meaning what exactly!!???

You're suggesting they actually mull it over and contemplate on the scenario. Tell your university 'professor' to go play in traffic...and you can join in. WHAT an idiot.

EDIT:
"I am simply asking them to think logically about the question being asked. I am asking that the responders "mentally" put themselves in that scenario and give me feedback of what they beleive".

You are not "simply" asking anything. And you are definately not asking them to think "logically" - you are asking them to think CRIMINALLY against women...which is not logical but severely twisted.

EDIT:
"Please refrain from responding if you have nothing constructive to add".

Please refrain from POSTING is you have nothing constructive to post.

"Please try and understand the concept of the question".

I do. You are asking men to temporarily adopt a criminal mind set when thinking about their women friends. You even said "It sounds bad, I know, and most people are going to respond saying Me? No! Never! But please try to think of the bigger picture". This statement alone indicates that you already believe they would assault - you're making subtle accusations. Your 'question' is also riddled with manipulative double talk...and it's degrading - for both genders.

In a word, No. To sexually assault a woman is to violate her personal sovereignty at the deepest level. So much or our identity is found in our gender and sexuality that to violate that is unthinkable.
