I have downloaded a album but its in one file,i cant play each song seperately,is there anything i can do ?

you can use a program like MP3 Surgeon to seperate the one large file into smaller files without much problem.

Technically, you could even try turning the mp3 into a wav file then using something as basic as sound recorder's basic "delete before this point" and "delete after this point" functionality to break it apart to the length you want it to be.

Get an audio editor for that file type. I assume you are dealing with mp3 format. Get a program called mp3 direct (or vice versa). This will allow you to cut and paste portions of the song. Then use the save as function from the original file until you have all the songs as individual files.

You could try a program called Adobe Audition (Cool Edit pro). Using this program you can remove parts, and save them as single songs.

Best of my knowledge you can't do anything about it. I had the same problem myself and never did find away round it. I'm sure some clever PC wizard knows a way round, it will be interesting to see if you get anything

sorry i was so happy so it was capital letters.
anyway...you can download ACOUSTICA MP3 AUDIO MIXER which i use for such things
u can cut each track as u like and save it as an MP3 file. i can help u more if u want

i had the same problem and as far as i can tell it is just one 'song'. you have to play it all at once. sorry dude!
