No, but it is a good idea to treat them like they are, to keep them coming back. The more business, means more money. More money means more hours/raises and that means more money for you.

Customers are people, and people are not always right. But you want their money so you will make them feel like they are special. That's the definition of customer service. Everyone will walk away happy, as long as you don't take things customers say personally. I enjoy working with the public, it's fun to meet new people, and comical too!

No. It's just a marketing gimmick.

If they demand you give them a $100 product for $1 are they right?

If they ask for a BigMac and fries in a hardware store are they right?

If they cause a commotion and scare other customers are they right?

No. No. No

They get the boot.

But they do keep business running even though they suck
Did you have a bad day at work? If so just remember that you know how YOUR bisiness works and they do NOT know **** so just do your best to be all polite and hope that they choke on whatever you've just fed them That's what I do

Usually the customer is right..sometimes however, they are just WRONG WRONG WRONG. Depends on what the question or concern is I think..

not when your talking to verizon wireless. customer service knows absolutely nothing and they will always tell you that there is nothing they can do. i can not wait till my contract is up.

i have never worked in retail but if i did well im always right so no the custumer isnt always right .
