Time exists as a fourth dimension, just like the three dimensions of space. The reason that we experience time moving in a forward motion is due to a concept called entropy, which is basically the amount of disorder in a thing. Entropy tends to increase because disorder is easier to maintain than order (imagine a bunch of 4 year olds running around a clean living room...entropy increases because messy is an easier state to maintain than clean).

There are theories that we could travel through time via wormholes or cosmic strings which are functions of string theory which states that all of everything is made up of vibrating strings. The basic idea is that if you had some thing that could warp space time, you could move back in time in the same way that you can leap over a ditch in three dimensional space. Unfortunately, there is no technology that currently allows us to leverage this and there is no piece of firm science that can tell us how.

One of the stock answers to the question of time travel is to suggest that if time travel were possible it would have already happened. By way of explanation let's say that at some time in the future a clever scientist invents a time machine that can travel through time in any direction, just like the fictional time machine created by H. G. Wells. So where is our intrepid time traveller? History shows that no time traveller has ever visited us from the future, therefore it's never going to happen. This appears at first glance to be a good solid argument against the possibility of time travel, but the argument is flawed. It may be that time travellers from the future have visited us, but have not revealed themselves in order to avoid changing the future. Alternatively, time travel may be possible, but only into the future, the past already having been determined. Finally, time travel into the past may be possible, but only into a different (alternative) universe, thus avoiding paradoxes. The fact that we have no record of having been visited by time travellers does not exclude its possibility. Having dealt with that little problem we can now move on the fun part, paradoxes.

There is no definitive answer.

One of the most common explanations is the "time tourist" theory. If time travel (back) were possible, why don't we see people traveling from the future? Surely, someone would come from the future, with sufficient information to prove that they were who they say they are.

It's not a very good theory, though.

Time travel is possible if, we all are made of small atoms and when these atoms combine some definate pressure, volume and temprature, we evolve, but what will be the assumptions to create human are not clear-which also gives answer to our birth. If we get answer to this then we can ionize the various atoms of human body and send them in same with various carrier waves and once recieved at one end they could be reaasenbled with same configuaration

that's a alluring question yet to recommendations the previous seems to be the previous and hence unalterable. I ought to think of if somebody had already carried out so we'd have seen its impact by making use of now. In concept any threat is permitted to exist with none form of naysayer in any respect. yet genuine existence time has a fastened action shifting from destiny, to latest, to previous. Even in a minor hypothesis approximately this a guy coming from the destiny to the previous, the present time he left might nevertheless proceed and pass forward. additionally in questioning approximately if that's going to or no longer that's achieveable a individual ought to return and forth time then it skill he can't exist in 2 places at one time. interior the previous he's already lifeless even ought to he stay an entire existence time. The relativity of time and all that a existence time might squeezed right into an entire life of understanding's in a prior stay yet his latest existence might give up on an identical 2d his previous existence theoretically did. If he observed the destiny he may be seen a lunatic at superb or mad guy. So he'd extra effective shop his mouth close. additionally if he ought to convey a newspaper back with him he won't be waiting to convey it back. that's purely my recommendations. No vast deal. My recommendations is drained any way.

Time is the momentary awareness of a living organism. Once the moment has passed, another takes its place and the previous moment of awareness can be remembered, but not recovered.

The ability to travel to a period which no longer exists, is a physical impossibility, other than calling up a memory of that period and reliving it in thought and imagination.

Like that.

If time travel was possible surely someone from the future would have come back to show us how to do it.

because time is a constant and therefore cannot be altered....in theory.

time travel, aliens, there one second, gone the next, ghosts....maybe it is already here in the future but not with us at this moment and they cannot let us i non the secret because it would change the future.
personally, i would love to return to the dinosaurs and pick up a t.rex head as a trophy

time travel is is only possible relative to something else if you travel faster then the speed of light then your going back in time relative to your starting point and if you could travel faster than light and circle back on yourself then time travel is possible
but to travel faster than the speed of light you need more energy than there is in your mass times the speed of light squared (e=mc2) and that is impossible at the moment!!

who says it's not possible? maybe i'm from the year 3045! you never know! i don't think anybody could ever truly answer that question correctly because there's always the future coming, where people could be traveling from. it's a confusing topic!
