I really would like help about how to handle moving away from my friends and keeping in touch. Not only is my family seriously considering moving, but the economy here is struggling, especially Ford, and most of my classmates are planning to move far away... many are going out of state, and some out of country.

Our biggest fear is that we will lose contact and be forgotten... and also the sadness of things "never being the same again". We can still keep in touch via email, but I think we all want something a bit more.

Any suggestion and ideas? Thanks in advance! :)

it is true it will never be the same again... i experienced that change twice and i'm going on my third now that i'm moving to college... you'll miss them alot at first but after a while it will ease down a little... and try to make new friends.... and well just keep e-mailing each other and chatting and stuff... sending pictures to see how things are going is a way to relieve the pain a little too... and a next way is to go back or just plan a vacation everyone together or a get together... these are a couple of stuff that help alot... and don't forget to call once in a whil cuz you tend to forget their voices...

Its hard I know....I just recently moves 3 states away from my best friends and its hard. I use myspace to keep in contact with them mostly i mean we talk all the time but myspace is a good way to keep friends close to you.

To be honest, everyone you know is going to go on with their new lives and make new friends. You will too.
