Been there and done that.
I was extremely sick for the first 22 weeks of my pregnancy. So much that I was in the hospital three times and lost over 25 pounds. The doctor's kept telling me it would get better. First they said once I got past three months. Then they said after I start to feel the baby move. Now they tell me that I will feel better after the baby is born.
If you are still sick after three months, be sure to ask your doctor about Vitamin B6. My doctor finally found that a combination of Vitamin B6, Unisom and Phenagren every six hours has worked wonders for me. After 22 weeks of not eating well and vomiting and diarrhea, I finally can eat three meals a day along with snacks and it stays were it is supposed to.

Ask your doctor about "Cariban" - it is natural and very good for morning sickness, it helped me, and it may help you, not ideal for everyone though.
Also, try eating a plain cracker or biscuit when you feel nauseous, that can really help.
Finally, eat little and often, don't overload your stomach! Don't eat anything very oily, fried or spicy, they will just make it worse!
I hope I helped a bit, I know how you feel, I went through it too. I was always triggered by the smell of cat food, but I still had to feed my poor cat - ugh!! I'm 31 weeks now and it is better, although I still get queasy!
Congrats!!

I'll tell you exactly what worked for me...I am now 12 weeks pregnant and I felt the same way. I started taking B6 supplements and it went away in 1 day! Take 25 mg three times a day and I'm telling you it works!! Ask your doctor if you want reassurance. There have been studies that have proven the effectiveness of B6 for morning sickness.

Well every ones heard of the gingerale, crackers and sucking on ice, but in both of my pregnancies I had morning sickness for 4 months (each!) so i had to come up with a few extras. First always throw up when you need to, if you keep it in, youll be sick for longer, Instead of making dinner, Grill! The smell of the food was out side the house and you can grill just about anything.Have something bubbly to drink at all times. Something different, I used to listen to one CD that used to make me feel relaxed every time. I wish ou good luck on your allday sickness.

Yes, I have good advice for you. Call your doctor or see him or her. You have what I had- I can't remember the medical name but it means extreme "morning" sickness. It can last all 3 trimesters. I had to be hospitalized with 3 of my 5 pregnancies for it for dehydration. Talk to the dr now about getting some help. You can get dehydrated very easily. I was on Zofran. It helped a TON!

i don't remember the medical term for it but it can get serious if this last long. go to your doctor, they may have to give you an IV to make sure you're not dehydrated. hopefully this only last for your first trimester but some time it can last the whole pregnancy. I have a friend that had to be induced before she got to full term because the baby wasn't getting any nutrients and her vomiting was putting the baby under distress. So make sure you see your doctor soon, so he can get this all under control. Good Luck!

Lemon! that's the answer. Eat a lemon it calms the morning sickness, that's what my doctor told me and if not that crackers. And please don't be drinking pop and stuff. WATER! that is the wonderful thing that keeps you healthy. Water and orange juice. But make sure you eat those lemons for the morning sickness it really works

I would talk to your doctor to see if he can prescribe something for you. try eating some saltine crackers and see if that help, Hope you feel well soon, I hated morning sickness that is the only bad part of being pregnant. and congratulations on the new one coming.

A friend of mine had this until month 4 of pregnancy. She had to go to her OB and get a prescription. You should make an appointment with your OB as dehydration and malnutrition is not giving your baby a healthy start. It will get better as the pregnancy goes on. Good luck to you.
