My uniform at work is a white tuxedo top, a big red satin floppy bow tie and a red pencil skirt. Is this appropriate for a restaurant server?

If that's the uniform the restaurant provides then you are sorta stuck. They obviously think it's appropriate. If you are uncomfortable in it, then I suggest a job change to a place where you are comfortable with your uniform and where you feel it's appropriate too! Also consider what Vegas servers have to wear, that's a lot more conservative then that!!

Well, first of all floppy and droopy is not good at all. When serving food you should have to wear tighter clothing and your hair back out of your face. No...not very appropriate

Sure, why not? Looks much better than those frumpy housecoat style dresses that many women have to wear (the diner kind.)

hmm well if you work at hooterrs its probley good but like unno sounds odd to me if your uncomfertable its inaproperte do what you think is comfertable
