do people and animals have the same pain to certain things? people more? animals more?

Sure - same nervous system, same brain receptors. The difference is that we know that (hopefully) the excedrin will kick in soon to stop our headache, but an animal lives in the present . We also are unable to read their clues as to when they are in discomfort, other than obvious owies & trauma.

Yes, they feel pain just as we do. And just like people some have a higher threshold for it than do others. I think in general animals deal with pain less as an outward expression than we do, maybe this is still some kind of defense or instinctual self preservation.

In veterinary medicine there are not as many pain medications for animals as people have, but there is a large selection for different types of pain and different species as well. The attitude regarding animals and pain is rapidly changing and gaining ground in means of managing it.

animals are the same as us so yeah they get hurt and feel pain like us.

yeah sure. animals get very sad when they get Ds and Fs in college and get very sad too when their bfs/gfs dump them so yeah!

yes. my cat has stitches and she makes a pathetic meow every time i accidently touch that area.

I think my dog is tougher than me but he tells me it is the other way around.
