My boyfriend and I have really LOUD fights...it's not good, not good at all. This past weekend we had 2 of my neighbors call the cops on us because of the yelling. (This is actually a bit embarrassing to write about...) Anyways, I am concerned that I could get evicted...If the neighbors don't compain to the managment office, do the police give a reoprt to managment or anything like that??

Honey, I used to manage an apartment building and you better believe those neighbors are telling management if they are calling the cops.

Couples fighting is very disturbing for other tenants to have to endure. It's emotionally draining to live next to drama queens. Damn right I'd never renew a lease for a fighting couple. You can get evicted, too. Every tenant is entitled to "peaceful enjoyment" of their premises. If you are disturbing the "peaceful enjoyment" of others whether it's screaming or a loud TV, then you are violating your own lease and infringing on the rights of others.

your neighbors definitely told management, and yeah you can get kicked out of an apartment for being loud. You should start looking for a new apartment or pray that they don't kick you out!...You should try not to have any more fights with your bf or you are going to get evicted.

The disturbances are grounds for management to evict you. The police do not report to management. I am sure your neighbors will.
Don't have loud fights.

Just put yourself in your neighbors' shoes. I am a owner of an apartment complex, we have evicted tenants with noise issues and other issues. Neighbors will complain to management company, in turn, the owners will be notified.

Yes you can be evicted- you have no right to infringe on your neighbors "peaceful enjoyment" of their dwellings. I would expect a cease and desist or a right to cure letter in the next few days. That means if you do it again you are OUT!
