whats the easiest way to become a gold rank in pokemon mystery dungeon before mount thunder?

You go up ranks in mystery dungeon by obtaining rescue points on missions. You don't need to be a certain rank to reach mt. thunder. It is advisable that your team is about level 20 though. I'll admit this; if you do get to gold rank before heading to mt. thunder, you have a lot of time on your hands.

Once you feel that you're ready, climb mt. thunder and battle zapdos. If you can, recruit a gligar along the way. Zapdos has powerful electric attacks that will fry water and flying pokémon (gligar's ground, so it resists electricity) and flying attacks that will turn grass and bug pokémon to dust.

i [lay mystery dungeon 2!and im gold rank.so i say if u want 2 becom a gold rank fast,play quick but not a lot cuz it gets boring like that.i got 2 gold rank in like 1-2 weeks!
