Africa is not a dump. It is developing.

You have to understand history. The Egyptian Empire lasted 3,000 years and during that time it was the most advanced civilization on the planet. And while Europe was locked in the Dark Ages the vast empire of Ghana ruled in central Africa. It was far more advanced than Europe at that time. How different history would have been if Ghana had sent slave ships north to Europe while Europeans were living in superstitious ignorance.

So consider history. It is a moving process. Yes, the US is on top now, but it is fatally weakened by the childish economics of your president, it is hopelessly in debt to China. China, which was a basket case, a "dump" only 30 years ago now is poised to rule the world because of its dynamic economy. So the US voted to become a poor second rate power. Bad decision for the US, but good for China. History is a process. Some day the US might be on top again. Africa certainly will be.

Uh, one of the big reasons we profitted so handsomely early on was a no pay workforce. They were better known as slaves. It's very easy to export cheaply when your labor is free. This country owes much of what it is to slave labor.
