I believe that when you die you will be judged for your actions in life. Regardless of where in the next life you end up you will still be aware of what happens in the world of the living, and you may even retain emotional attachment for the living.
I seriously doubt we will care about reality tv after we are dead, because there will be more impressive things and more pressing concerns.
Some people probibly regret snuffing their candle, some seriously so.

I have never been able to understand how people arrive at conclusions about this. The experiences a person has after their death (if in fact a person's identity and "person" still exist after death) are completely inaccessible to us in this life. We can conjecture about a lot of other things, like aliens or dinosaurs, even though we can't see them, because we have some information that may lead us to hints about them. The afterlife, however, is something we can't access in even the slightest way until we get there.
I don't know what happens to us after we die, and I am content to wait to find out. Those who claim to know what happens after death are claiming to know (in some cases claiming to know with certainty) what they cannot begin to verify or test against reality, and they are therefore running a huge risk of utterly deceiving themselves. Everyone is, of course, entitled to believe what they choose, but because there is no verifiable information available on this subject (in earthly life), I suspend judgement for lack of evidence.

106 billion people have ever walked the earth, heaven must be pretty full, don't you think? And that's not even thinking about the Neanderthals or the 15 other hominids who are now extinct...do they get a heaven too. Maybe they're on Alpha Centauri....lol

If you choose to watch from above it will happen.
If you choose to move to a different experience. It will happen.
If you choose to come back again it will happen.
It's all about choices, so why not just learn to make the right choices now?
And save yourself from having to do it all over again. (?)
and again and again and again and again and again and again...............

I think when we die, we go back to whatever it was we were doing before.

i don't think there is anything after we die. so at least i don't know what could it be. and if i knew there was something afterwards, anything , even only hell, i'd see it with other eyes.

"We" won't be doing anything - "we" will be dead.
