I think she is a little girl in women's clothing.I feel bad that she tried to commit suicide, she tried to hang herself at the rehab with her bed clothes.I don't feel this is a publicity stunt.I think she needs to recover and we should leave her alone.Even Federline realizes that and has brought the kids to see her.We could all take a lesson from him.Just b/c she is in the public eye does not mean her entire life belongs to the public. She went from Mickey Mouse club,to adult entertainer, she was really never a teenager and people forget that. How lonely she must feel with everyone turning their backs on her.

Maybe the whole reason she shaved her head is she realizes that she's washed up and no-one cares about her as much anymore and the spotlight is kinda on her sister...but then she's not that popular either >.< I think being a celebrity would be fun! But it definately have its downfalls. Depending on how famous and popular you are, you might not be able to go ANYWHERE without people getting you on film. I think either she's sick of the attention, or she wants more. Maybe she even just simply had a bad day *shrugs* But whatever the reason, I'm sure she's just upset and I think the media should back off on ALL celebrities. I think there should be some kind of spacer law. You know? I mean the public doesn't need to know which Snapple Billy Joe Armstrong likes, or which magazine Hilary Duff reads, Or how many guys Jennifer Aniston has simply dated. I think there are limits as to what the public should, or needs to know. Some things are just obsessively creepy.

Hell no! That's the coolest thing that chick has ever done.

I was ashamed to say she was from Louisiana (and I hate it here, so that's alot of shame) until she did that. Amazing.

Ironically, that's probably the most empowering and liberating thing she's ever done. Why she is wearing a wig is beyond me. Celebrities are put up on this pedestal as if they are immune to natural human reactions and emotions.

Imagine all the kids that are now realizing how normal she is and how normal all the other celebrities really are underneath. That can save them alot of delusion in the future.

Furthermore, she cracked under pressure and by the looks of the way she reacted to her anxiety and stress, she wanted people to see her at her worst. Then maybe they can appreciate her at her best (if there ever was a moment like that).

Chances are... it was a VERY clever publicity scam ;)

Britney is a celebrity n celebrities don't have private lives, they are always on record, tho i do not agree with the nosy behavior of media, but what the hell!...people demand spicy news, they wouldn't want to know whats goin on in the other end of the world unless its some sex tape of paris or baldie britney or any crap which has got nothing to do with their lives.
honestly i like britney, she's an awesome dancer n a good performer...im least bothered bout whats going on in her private life...n those who don't like her...are most keen on knowing what's her next move, coz hey!, she gives them something to talk, discuss n 'bit ch' bout....
they look forward for such incidences to kill their time....Good work Britney...u help alot of idlers have a gala time talkin bout u....way to go!!!!!

She doesn't want the media to leave her alone. She is a media junkie. Besides, if any other mother treated their children the way she has treated hers, they would be locked up and rightly so. It is her celebrity status that protects her from her own folly. So why would she want to give it up?

As long as the people watch, the media will provide the "coverage". Personally, I don't pay attention to such "news". After all, there are more important things going on in the world.

If you put yourself in the frame by being 'famous' and taking peoples money off them with records, concerts etc, then why should you not be subject to scrutiny in your private life!! Don't worry there will soon be a book out about her bad experiences and then everybody can pay her more money and the circle will be complete!!

I think the media and everyone else should leave her alone. The only ppl that need to bother her are the one's that want to help.

She courts the media. She knows they follow her, she knows the "exaggerate" her every move, yet just when you don't hear anything about her for a few weeks, she turns up with a shaved head. Most of the things she has "suffered" through are her own doing, even if she doesn't admit it. She's just too much of a hypocrite for me to defend, but maybe this stay in rehab will mature her up.

maybe the whole thing is meant to be the usual publicity stunt. ppl who are being ignored as celebrities tend to find various ways of gaining back some attention to themselves. and yes, i do agree that the media shoul dgive her a break. i feel sorry for her but it is her decisions to run her lfe the way she way she sees fit. (it's the so-called friends' that she has around her)
