Could anyone please give me a list of good books I could read on every day life in Africa? It doesn't matter what region, I'd like to look at what it's like in different parts of the country and how it compares, things like that. Books that tell me how far it has developed in some parts and others that include information on child soldiers. Thanks for your help!

(NO WIKIPEDIA PLEASE. I can search the internet for myself, thank you.)

Read 'Don't Let's Go to the Dogs Tonight' by Alexandra Fuller. It's about her growing up in Africa. Absolutely riveting.
