hats off to fergie. it sticks in my craw to say anything nice about old red nose but he has basically re built manure from the bottom up and crafted the players into the team they are today. while most other managers are busy running after the first team fergie has made it his business to let his coaches do the coaching for the first few days of the week while he spends time with the youth teams. this gives the youth players something to aim for in trying to impress him with good honest hard work and devotion to the cause. i know he likes his players a bit on the fiery side as a good friend of mine was once a trainee at manure. his general play and ball work was excellent but the thing utd where always complaining about was his lack of yellow cards!!!(I'm serious when i say this) they thing this shows a will to win in a player.
the only thing about fergie is the ghost he will leave if he moves up stairs and joins the board. think about shankley when he steped down from liverpool. they had to stop him from coming to the training ground as the players where still calling him boss and it undermined big joe. hopefully this will happen to manure!!lol

When Jonathan Spector played for Man U, he told the press the only thing Sir Alex ever said to him was your playing, five minutes before the game.

How can he have great tatics if he dosen't even communicate them to his players ?

He has good players, perhaps an eye for talent but as a tactition he's zero. I'd like to see how many games he'd win if he had Wigans player budget.

Why are they good ? Cause they have more money to buy more players, that's it.

because age and wisdom come together, and Sir Alex happens to acquire such characteristics..

They wasn't so great for the first five/ six years he was there was they? Wenger won the double in his first year. Alex is great admitedley, but it helps a lot that he's been given millions to buy world class players rather then making them world class after buying them for peanuts like AW does.
