I wanted to ask those that already play The Sims 2. I was thinking of buying this game, but then I thought it's just stupid, and a waste of time.. yet very very addictive. But I've watched some clips on youtube and it makes me wish to buy the game eagerly! I wanted to show you all two clips, and ask some question, here are the clips:

The first one is with the mermaid, and the second one with My Chemical Romance. Can you really make stories like that with sims 2? And do they really look so great and real? With which Sims 2 did people make these clips? And have you ever tried to do it?! So that means you could actually make stories, even a SAW 3 if you'd wish to?

Yes you can make your own stories, The mermaid skins you have to download. I highly recommend www.Insimanator.net or www.modthesims2.com You need to start out with the basic Sims 2 if you don't already have it, then you can start adding the e.p.'s if you want cars in your game you need nightlife. I have all the e.p.'s and out of all of them the new one that just came out Sim Seasons is the best. Pets is alright but I wasn't a big fan of the pets in the Sims 1. Open for business if fun also.
They also have mini packs like family fun stuff and glamour life but all they do is just add items to your game.

I absolutely love the sims 2 I would recommend the sims 2 pets, That is my favorite...I pretty much love all of them...Sims 2 nightlife you can have car... I have heard of making a story but i have never done it...With me sometimes i get really addictive so i try playing once a day for 1 1/2 so your not wasting your whole day away on the computer...Hope i answer you ? good..

Sims 2 Nightlife, Sims 2 college, Sims 2 Open For corporation Are strengthen packs. you want to get the Sims 2 and upload those strengthen packs to them. and that i'd get Nightlife beacuse you may be a vampire and stuff... They make Sims with My Cham. Romance by ability of playin the sims and including music.

OMG i looove sims 2 yes it is very addictive and u can control their lives its like a god mini game lol but not as powerful. i have all the sims and out of all of them i think the nightlife is the best cause u get cars and things but i dont have seasons. if u buy it and the seasons tell me how awesome it is. u can make videos and stories like that if u r a verry good computer geek and kno ur way around a comp like the back of ur hand. i love it.

Sims 2 open for buisiness is a fun game. Just don't get nightlife... I'm still having nightmares...

Yes you can really make stories like that, but it takes the know-how and time...plus some hacks.
I like all the expansions, they come together well. I couldn't live without one of them.

The only way to make stories with content like that is to download it, mod your sims files. You can even make your own mods but you have to know computer programing, it makes me sick just thinking about programing a single object YIKES!
