If your computer is in a network of computers with one computer that the adminastror uses to see all the computers how can u keep him from being able to see your computer.

You can use a software based firewall like zone-alarm. You will need to make sure you configure it so that connections from the outside of your host can't attach to port 3389 (the remote desktop) also block . Also turn off your Netbios over IP (in your IP stack).Also block any ICMP.

Be aware when you do this you will not be able to authenticate on the network, that can mean that at a minimum not be able to get to some network resources, and at the max that you will not get on the network to use it at all.

Its easy to do. Get a software firewall like Sygate. When the administrator tries to connect to your PC you'll get a prompt asking for your permission to allow the connection.

Turn off File and printer sharing. Control Panel, network connections, right click on local area connection, properties, uncheck file and printer sharing.

You cant, unless you keep it off or disconnect if from the network.
