Why not? It's not such a hard thing to believe. Not to mention the fact that there were over 500 witnesses to His resurrection (any court judge would be thrilled with that!). The prophets foretold His resurrection, and He Himself foretold His own resurrection a dozen times. Even the Roman soldiers knew it happened, and they made up a lie so they wouldn't be put to death by Rome for letting it happen. What high priest told them to say was that His disciples stole His body in the middle of the night. Kind of a stupid thing for SOLDIERS to admit to if they were suppose to be standing guard to prevent that very thing. But they were more willing to be ridiculed for being incompitent than to admit to the public that He had arisen from the dead. They saw the angels that rolled the stone from the tomb and it terrified them. There is also the testimony of his disciples - some of whom would not even believe it at first that He arose. Jesus had to prove Himself to Thomas by letting him touch the nail holes in his hands and the spear wound in His side. And the Roman centurian certified that Jesus WAS in fact dead when He was on the cross (and he was surprised that Jesus had died in only three hours, when the others that were hanged with him had to have their legs broken so that they would hang by their arms to collapse their ribs into their lungs and suffocate to death). So there was no doubt of His death, and there were plenty of witnesses, many of who had to be convinced that it was true by personal examination.

No I don't.
I give the benefit of the doubt that he actually existed, but I believe that later on early fathers and writers of the Christian Church grafted on the whole divine business because they had an agenda to do so.
I think it's also interesting how Christians have so vehemently attacked the discovery of ossuaries that purportedly bear the names of Jesus and Mary Magdalene. The fact that they have reacted so stridently and attacked the discovery as a hoax so viciously should tell you something.
"Methinks thou doth protest too much."
But then it only makes sense...if Jesus' bones WERE found, the entire basis of Christianity would be destroyed.

It is not utterly clear that he died on the cross to begin with. By faith I accept that he did both -- but it is faith, not fact. It is more likely that he (if he actually existed as a physical entitty) was cut down before death and died a natural death years later, the recent tomb they have found does not surprise me, although it is still not clear if it is Jesus. If it is, it is. Faith has nothing to do with logic, nor should it have to -- by the same token, those of faith should recognize that they are not following a logical path, and refrain from trying to form judgements based on their faith -- which is a soft foundation indeed.

No, do you believe that Odin hung on Yggdrasil (the world tree) for nine days so he could get the wisdom of the runes? Some how, I don't think you do.
No, I do not believe in your religion.

Trick question. Jesus didn't die on a cross. He died on a tree. Look it up, "stauros." And yes, he came back to life.
