im 17 and i want to become and actor i feel as though i cant read that well but when im alone i read perfectly am i illiterate or somethin

I would say to let the expression in your voice be free. Ive been the director of a play twice and I got off track a few times. I usually feel like nobodys watching and it usually helps. It don't think your illiterate. I think that you just get worried about being in a crowd performing and that you think your gonna mess up. If you follow my advice I bet you'll do a great job as an actor.

First all.. dont try so hard. You have to be yourself. Dont try to mimic an actor. If you truly feel the part you will deliver that part across. You arent illiterate. You just have stage fright. Just do your best.

When you read in front of others, think about the person (real or imaginary) you are addressing your lines to rather than the people watching you.
Also don't pronnonce the words as you read them, always read 2 or 3 words ahead.
