I use make-up pretty much every day, but I never do anything exciting...I use maybelline illegal lengths mascara, maybelline blue eyeshadow, l'oreal concealer, origins foundation (yeah, I know, go figure), and well uhm that's pretty much it. I was wondering what others would reccomend for daily use, like what s h o u l d I be using? I'm a girl, I'm in highschool and I have long blonde hair and blue eyes, so if you could just tell me what would work for me that'd be AMAZING.
(also, any quick fixes for oily skin with big pores/reccomendations for mascara brands?)

first of all, oily skin w/ big pores.. u need to exfoliate like every other week. so try making a home mask w/ uncoated aspirin or baking soda:

aspirin: take 3-4 tablets, drip some water on top. they will soften. add some honey or cetaphil face wash, mix and apply to clean skin. rub gently, and leave on for 30 min. rinse w/ warm water and moisturize. ur skin will feel soft!

baking soda: take a time size amount of baking soda and add some cetaphil. rub gently on to face, and rinse off w/ warm water. a quick exfoliant.

as for diff looks, i think u should try black liquid eyeliner. try tilting ur head back, look downwards into the mirror w/ ur eyes and apply the liner as thin as u can at the inner corner, and get thicker as u reach the outer corner. try to wing it out a bit, for a cat eye look! use neutral eyeshadow like light brown, and darker brown to emphasis the outer eye/crease. apply a pinkish lip gloss or lipstick and add some blush to ur cheekbones.

i like maybelline mascara. i have a lash definition one that works great, and also the XXL one w/ primer on one side.. really makes it look longer!

I use Biore pore minimizing products. I love them! I used to have oily broken out skin and big pores before I started using that. It has worked wonders on my skin. Almay has a blue eye trio eyeshadow and that is really fun. It makes your eyes pop.

Here are some tips:

Different Eyeliner Applications:

Close-Set Eyes:
Line outer third of upper lids with gray, brown, or black liner. Smudge gently. Use a lighter liner on the inner eye to widen the space between eyes.

Small Eyes:
Draw a dark line gradually thickening at outer edge of the eye. Use a light-colored pencil (gold, silver, white) and draw under lower lash.

Deep-Set Eyes:
Line upper lash line with pale, shimmery liner. Then line outer edge of lower lash with a soft, neutral shade (gray or taupe). This will create the illusion of a less heavy lid.

Drooping Eyes:
Line outer third of eye very close to lashes, carefully sweeping the liner up at the corner of the eye.

I would recommend this crayon concealer from the Body Shop.. It really works good in coverage and can be used to cover big pores also (I use it and its about the best stuff there is for big pores :P)
