Hmm... I wouldn't quite use the term "in love". I would start by saying that he notices you, and at least knows who you are. He was probably being a gentleman and behaving politely, as asking how someone is doing is usually just a curteosy carefree phrase, but isn't meant to express deep feelings or interest. If he begins to talk to you more, and shows behavior beyond idle chit-chat, then you might be getting somewhere.
Good luck with your crush!

could mean he's just a friendly sort of dude--I would not read anymore in to it lest u be disappointed later and waste hrs. dreaming about something that is not real. Wait for more significant signs --like if he goes out of his way to run into u, and makes it a point to seek u out--and if he ask u out still doesn't mean he is in love with u

No. "Hi, how are you" is a standard greeting, specifically among humans in North America.
I say the same thing to cashiers at Wal-Mart every now and then.

Woah easy now, your jumping the gun. Slow down a bit and let things progress naturally. There's plenty of time for love. Get to know one another first.

not really! if he's a classmate or somebody that u can talk to easily or casually then that's not really it, it can just be an everyday conv. But!! if he's somebdy that u dun't usually talk to, and u've been showing that ur into him, then yes, he may be interested in you, and he's pretty brave too ;), but not love, that'll come later if everything goes good.

No... He is only being polite and says hi. Now if he comes and looks for you on purpose then yeah maybe he is thinking about you.

Not any more. 30 years ago I fell in love in a heart beat. I learned quickly not to do that.

Don't read too much into that...when he says I Love You, then he's in love with you.

if that were true, my dear, then 500 people a day would be in love with me. And that's simply not the case. You want him? Then ask him out. It's that easy!
