I recently moved to a different city, and don't have many friends here yet. I moved here with my boyfriend. He hasn't really made any friends yet either. The problem is that I have made at least a few friends with people from work. I really want to go out with them for a "girls night out", but feel guilty leaving him all alone. What should I do? We've been together for almost two years. I would feel bad if he did this to me. Am I just being stupid here or what? I don't know how to go about this. I always feel so guilty. What do you guys do? Should I feel bad or not? I just miss having fun...I have no life anymore. I'm in my early twenties and should be living it up at this point in my life. I fee like I'm getting old already and its depressing. Please help!

You should go out and have a good time. He is his own person like you are. I figure that if he really wanted so friends he would have made some. Enjoy your life because you only get one. Maybe you could see if some of your friends have boyfriends he could hang with. Good luck on your situation. I hope whatever you choose that it works out for the both of you.

Here is the question you need to ask yourself.......Would he feel guilty about leaving you at home if he wanted to go out with some guys he had made friends with? I know that my boyfriend has no problem leaving me at home when he goes out with his buddies. All of my friends are married and have kids, I am the only one that doesn't, so it is hard for me to go out with the girls.

First, if he did this to you you'd have no reason to be mad unless he went to a strip club, hooters, etc. So why should he be mad at you for needing female companionship? Go out with the girls and don't feel guilty. He wouldn't feel guilty if he went out with the guys.

Tell your boyfriend that you need a girls night out :)
While you are out find out if those girls have boyfriends, brothers, friends etc. If they do maybe you could introduce them to your boyfriend. Or you could invite the girls to your house and ask them to bring a date :)

Ask him if he minds if he says no then go, if he says yes then dont go. If you dont mind boys nights out then he shouldnt mind either. If you dont allow boys nights out then you shouldnt get a girls night out either. Maybe try to find a married/ or couple to go out with, or play cards with. (Your work or his work)
