Why ATI/AMD company is so slow in releasing it products compared to Nvidia? I am big fan of ATI my self, all my video cards so far were from ATI,but dam when are the new video cards r600 from ATI coming out.On almost every generation of video cards it takes forever for them to release. Why they dont improve Crossfire to be as good as SLI? They need to do something about these things and be real competitive.

Sounds like they don't have the ambition like other companies do. Have you tried to call them and ask when the next update is coming out? Maybe you should think about going to another company. I'm sure you're not the only one who thinks the same and I'm sure they're losing customers because of this. It's their own downfall.

Nvidia might of been first, but it's a USELESS card for directx10, as there really no x10 games yet. nvidia has also major problems with drivers for vista and the so-called directx10...so much for being first. When the ATI line comes out, it will have support, drivers, and better yet, a few directx10 games. And SLI isn't really good, look up the benchmarks yourself, single cards usually outperform them completely until the resolution is up towards 2048 by 1600+.
Here's a good example of sli:
