always brings a smile to my my face when driving my ' baby bentley' bugger is the darn boot is letting in water - anyone know how to cure this?

make sure the boot rubber is in good condition and fitted correctly. make sure there are no dead leaves or other deposits in the ajcaent gully. ensure there isn't a hole in the wheel arch that water thrown up by the tyre can penetrate the boot by.

In addition to Mick's suggestions, check that the rear screen is not leaking or where the rear screen wiper fits, sometimes leaks can be where the boot lock is fitted, and an almost certain way to locate the leak is to spread some dry newspapers all over the inside of the boot, water will show up immediately and you can take it from there.

Rover 75 are nice cars - however, beware of the cost of a timing belt change at 90K....Ouch!
