The balancing may need checking.Any tyre garage should be able to check it and fix it fairly cheap.

It is most likely a tire balance problem. You should take it back to the dealer and see if they will balance the tires for you. If they dont, it usually costs $10-15 per tire. If the shaking is in the steering wheel, it is the front tires. If you feel the vibration mostly in your seat, it is the back tires. But you should get all 4 balanced. If you get the tires balanced and you still feel a vibration, either one of the wheels is bent or you have a broken steel belt in one of the tires. This is a common problem. The tire balance technician should notice if one of the wheels is bent while he is spin balancing the tires. It is NOT an alignment problem. If the car pulls to the left or the right while you are driving down a straight level road, that would be an alignment problem, or one of your tires is low, causing drag to one side. Hope this helped.

The most common source of vibration at a specific speed is uneven tire inflation. Check the tire pressure in all four tires. If they are uneven then that is most likely the problem. If that is not it I would start with balancing then if that doesn't fix it you have a bad tire or alignment. Hope this helps.

Hi there. Most cars have a "sympathetic" vibration at a particular speed that modern shock absorbers lessen, so the shocks could be stiff. (Similar principle to vibrating a glass until it shatters). It is not usually anything to worry about if a slight change of speed removes the vibration.
Cheers, Steve.

If it's new, get the wheels balanced. Try and get the dealer who sold it to you to pay for it. Usually, the tires on a new car aren't warranted, I learned that the hard way, but my best friend had a blowout on his new jeep, and the dealer replaced it. That happened just about 3 hours after he signed the papers on it though.

take your car to a garage and get the wheels balanced and retracked, the vibrating will only happen between 60 and 70 mph.

It could well be the wheel bearings or balancing of the wheels.

A tyre centre could check this for next to nothing.
