I'm trying to make my own hair accessories. I don't seem to find good barretes, not the finished accessory but barrette itself. I tried LA downtown & Michaels but could not find it. I'm thinking maybe I should contact whoever makes the barretes itself. Anybody has an idea???

I'm trying to make my own hair accessories. I don't seem to find good 80mm plain barretes (sorry, guys, but not the tiny ones), not the finished accessory but barrette itself. I tried LA downtown & Michaels but could not find it. I'm thinking maybe I should contact whoever makes the barretes itself. Anybody has an idea???

LA hair makes the best barrettes. They are sold at Claires.

Goody is a good brand to use. The ones that snap closed don't always work if you have thick hair so try the ones that you have to bend under.

Try claires, they have many good barrettes. If none there check your grocery store for any GOODY barrettes

I have really thick hair and Goody makes really strong ones. You can find them in most drug stores. They make plain ones that you can decorate.
