i suggest a camping holiday, we started last year with the bare essentials, ie a tent! oh and a throw away barbie and took our quilts as oppose to sleeping bags and brought beans from Asda, (smart price of course) and had a fab time, it was £8 a night to pitch and there was a shower block (that was clean) and toilets (also very clean) we played football in the evenings had drinks around the barbie, had a cooked breakfast every morning and spent all day on the beach and in the penny arcades, for extra entertainment we went to local caravan parks and brought a family ticket for the night so that the kids had some fun entertainment,(this is not compulsory and dont think we will bother this year as kids loved hanging out as a family age range 2 yrs to 17 yrs) we only planned to go for the weekend as it was our first time and stayed a week, the weather was glorious although we did have rain but we just sat in tent and TALKED something we actually dont realise we do far too little of at home. you can buy a cheap tent on e-bay and just take the basics i loved it as did my family just try it you may become hooked, whole holiday cost £56!!!!!!! hope you find something anyway. Buy a copy of Daltons weekly from either W.H.Smith or Asda, there are tons of good cheap caravan holidays advertised all over England in Daltons, good luck and hope you find something suitable.

Haven are ok for young children, i usually go abroad, but as my daughters only 19 months old, she would enjoy a Haven holiday stopping in a caravan as they have everything on site for young children, try their website
