If you weren't having severe abdominal pain i would have said it's probably nothing to worry about, but get it checked as soon as possible by your GP or midwife. As you are having very bad pains and also clots with the bleeding im very sorry to say that it does sound like you are having a miscarriage. You need to be seen by a doctor ASAP!!

Rosie, sweetheart you need to get yourself to a doctor asap. Please don't get too alarmed or scared you just need to be checked out. The symptoms you describe sound like a misscarriage is happening. I hope not sweetie, I really do but you need to see a GP right away. The symptoms could also be caused by a number of other things. You could be having a miscarriage, you need to go to your doctors or a hospital straight away where they can check this out for you. Any bleeding in pregnancy should be looked into but unfortunately this doesnt sound good. Take care of yourself, try to get somebody to go with you x

Get to the ER right away. I had the same thing with my first pregnancy right around the 3 month mark, and they told me it was the begining of a misscarriage. Don't give up hope just yet though my daughter is now 6 years old. Just get the help now before it is too late.
