14 in Canada for consensual sex (excepting anal intercourse at 18). IF the person is somehow in charge of you, assuming you are 14 and the other person is older or an adult, such as a teacher, a coach, a babysitter, Scout Leader - anyone who might have influence over your decision to have sex with them - is called sexual interference - charged against the older person.
All this means that anywhere in Canada, a 14 year old or older may choose to have a sexual relationship with an older person legally with above exceptions noted.

If both parties are over the age of consent (or within an age range, for states which recognize that exception), then as long as the sex is consensual, it's legal.

Forced sex is still rape, regardless of age. And having sex in public might still violate laws, regardless of age.

Statuatory rape if your partner is underage, public indecency if you have sex in public, sodomy (in some states) if you have anal or oral sex (with man or woman), whatever charge they would hit you with for bestiality (indeceny?), the list goes on and on. These are, of course, only ones they CAN charge you with. Whether they WOULD or not depends on if your'e caught and how bored the police may be.

Many fine posts.
I'll just add that in some states and municipalities, you can still be found guilty of a crime for engaging in anal/oral sex with the same OR opposite gender, even if they are a willing participant.

well, if you are in D.C. you are old enough to have sex with a 16 year old, but not allowed to email one, as the liberals pointed out.
